Their typical chemical makeup includes ≤0.12% carbon, ≤1.60% manganese, ≤0.025% phosphorus, ≤0.015% sulfur, along with trace amounts of micro-alloying elements like niobium, titanium, and vanadium. These additions boost strength and refine the grain structure. The steel boasts a minimum yield strength of 355 MPa and tensile strength ranging from 430 to 550 MPa, with an elongation of at least 19%.
