Alloy Steel Forged Fittings are generally made from ASTM A182 grades such as F5, F9, F11, F22, and F91. These materials contain Chromium (1–9%), Molybdenum (0.5–1%), along with trace amounts of Carbon, Manganese, and Vanadium. This unique alloy composition provides improved mechanical strength, oxidation resistance, and durability when faced with thermal and mechanical stress. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 415 to 620 MPa, yield strength between 205 and 415 MPa, and outstanding resistance to creep and fatigue. Their strong metallurgical structure guarantees reliable performance in high-pressure piping and flow control systems.
