Our SUPRALSIM 690 Sheets and Plates are crafted with a precise blend of elements, including carbon, manganese, silicon, chromium, molybdenum, nickel, and vanadium, while keeping sulfur and phosphorus content to a minimum for enhanced purity and weldability. The steel undergoes a rigorous quenched and tempered process, resulting in high tensile strength that ranges from 770 to 940 MPa, along with excellent toughness even in subzero conditions. With a minimum yield strength of 690 MPa, an elongation of about 14%, and impact resistance of 30J at −40°C, these plates are perfect for structural applications that prioritize both weight savings and high performance.
