Carbon Steel EN-353 Bars are alloy case-hardening steels that contain about 0.17–0.20% carbon, 0.50–0.80% manganese, 0.90–1.20% chromium, and 0.40–0.70% nickel, along with small amounts of silicon and molybdenum. These bars are specifically designed for carburizing, allowing them to develop a hard, wear-resistant surface while keeping a tough, shock-resistant core. After undergoing heat treatment, they typically reach a surface hardness of 58–62 HRC and provide tensile strengths between 750–1000 MPa. EN-353 bars are celebrated for their remarkable fatigue strength, toughness, and wear resistance, making them perfect for components that face dynamic and abrasive conditions.
